John F. Dravk

YORK HAVEN – John F. Dravk, 60, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2016 at Harrisburg Hospital. He was the husband of Sandra R. (Casto) Dravk to whom he was married for 11 years. He was also the husband of the late Linda L. (Troup) Dravk. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 20, 2017 at Beaver Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street, Lewisberry with Pastor Larry Hale officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. Born December 20, 1956 in York Haven, a son of the late Matthew and Margaret (Luckenbaugh) Dravk, he was a graduate of Red Land High School. John worked at Cumberland Tool & Die, Inc. He was a member of Goldsboro Fireman’s Club and Etters VFW. John loved trains, model cars, fishing, kayaking and going to dirt track races. He was an avid tinkerer who would spend hours helping his children work on their motorcycles and go-carts. John loved to have fun and enjoyed his time spent with his family floating down the creek or working in the garage. In addition to his wife, Mr. Dravk is survived by two sons, Jarred A. Dravk of York Haven and Aaron J. Dravk of Dover; four stepsons, Ben and wife Beckah Craig of Lewisberry, Jordan Craig of York Haven, Brian and wife Brandie Lefebvre of Newberrytown and Nathan Lefebvre of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Dylan, Stephanie, Brian, Weslee and a grandchild to be born this summer; four brothers, Matthew Dravk of York, Paul Dravk of Hummelstown, Michael Dravk of Etters and Donald Dravk of Dallastown; and six sisters, Eleanor Heffner, Anna Poe and Margaret Elstrode all of York, Helen Ziegler of Etters, Mary Taylor of Lake, MI and Christine Dorwart of New Cumberland. He was preceded in death by a brother, Francis “Butch” Dravk; and a sister, Phyllis Dravk.
