John E. Warner

FELTON—John E. Warner, 70, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at his residence in North Hopewell Township. He was the husband of Rita A. (Matney) Warner to whom he was married for 14 yrs. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Yorkanna Gun Club. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born November 13, 1948 in York, he was a son of the late William and Maybell (Grace) Warner. He was self employed throughout his career, working as a logger and a mason. Mr. Warner served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Red Lion American Legion. In addition to his wife, Mr. Warner is also survived by three children, Crystal L. Bathory of York, Kimberly S. Warner of York and Mark A. Warner of Felton; four grandchildren, Maddie, Breana, Sarah and Elijah; two brothers, William Warner, Jr and James Warner; three sisters, Maryann Keesey, Joy Kite and Darlene Gunnett and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Dean Warner. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dallastown American Legion or Red Lion American Legion.
