John Christ

York—John Christ, 92, died Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at his residence in W. Manchester Township. He was the husband of the late Lottie M. (Rzonca) Christ. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, Pa 17408 is in charge of arrangements. Born March 3, 1923 in Johnstown, Pa, he was a son of the late Anthony and Anna (Cholewa) Christ. He retired from TRW in 1985 as a Supervisor after 44 years of dedicated employment. A United States Army Veteran of World War II, he was also a member of the Free & Accepted Masons and enjoyed making jewelry, candles and playing the organ. Mr. Christ is survived by one son, Kenneth J. Christ of Chelsea, MI; one daughter, Sharon E. Christ of York; one granddaughter, Tracey Achrem and one great grandson, Hunter Achrem.
