John C. Villarose, V

NORTH YORK- John C. Villarose, V, 43, died Monday, November 3, 2008 at his residence. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 7, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, 2215 Brandywine Lane, York, with Rev. Stanley W. Combs and Rev. Janyce Jorgensen officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM Friday at the church. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements. Born March 9, 1965 in Columbus Ohio, a son to John C. and Carol L. (Owen) Villarose IV, he worked at Caterpillar Logistics, and prior to that worked at Builder's Square. Mr. Villarose was a 1983 graduate of West York High School and then attended Shippensburg University. He was a member of Local UAW, a former member of the Viking Athletic Association and Shiloh American Legion, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Villarose is survived by a son, John C. Villarose VI of York; a daughter, Erin B. Villlarose of York; a sister Elizabeth A. and husband Eric Cable of Thomasville; two nieces, Chelsea and Alexis Cable; a nephew Christopher Strausbaugh; a paternal grandmother, Doris Villarose of Vero Beach, FL; a life time friend Etsuko "Mikey" Michael of York; and his former wife, Elizabeth A.
