John C. Brigade, Jr. John C. Brigade, Jr., 43, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday morning at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia after a lengthy illness. Born in Pottsville, on September 15, 1968, he was the son of the late John C. Brigade, Sr., who passed away in 2001 and Ruth E. (Davis) Brigade, of Palo Alto. He was a 1982 graduate of Pottsville Hospital and a 1985 graduate of the former Williamsport Area Community College. He was an electrician for several years at the Lehigh Valley Dairy. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. He was the Boy Scout Leader for Pack 608 in Port Carbon; he was a member of the Amateur Radio Association, being known as "Canonball"; He loved the Philadelphia Phillies, fishing, hunting, the beach, working on his computer, watching history related programs, and flying his model helicopter. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruth E. and Thomas A. Davis. He is survived by his wife, Danielle L. (Carl) Brigade, of Pottsville, to whom he would have been married for 18 years on June 2nd; his son, Taylor Brigade, at home; his two sisters, Marina E. Simmons and Lisa D. Wawrzyniak, both of Pottsville; his Aunts; a niece and nephews; his cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. from the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., Pottsville. The Reverend Liddy Bileck will officiate. Friends may call on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until time of services at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
