Troy, PA- John B. Benjamin, Sr., Age 65 of 937 Town & County Estates, Troy, PA passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Troy Community Hospital, Troy, PA. John was born March 17, 1944 in Sayre, PA son of the late Mary Benjamin. John worked in the construction industry for many years and was retired from Wrisley Construction. His memberships included Monroeton, Towanda and Hillside Rod and Gun Clubs and the Morris Legion. John loved the outdoors and was and avid fisherman, hunter and camper. He also was a NASCAR fan. Survivors include his loving wife Valerie M. Benjamin of Troy, PA, son, John (Sherri) Benjamin of Gillett, PA, daughters, Laurie (Mike) Brown of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Tressa (Jeff Shedden) Brown of Gillett, PA, grandchildren, Aaren Brown, Maureen (Bryant) House, Kody Benjamin, Kendra Benjamin, Chase Brown, step-grandson, Mike Brown, Brother-in-law, Robert Bailey of Troy, PA, sister-in-law, Marcia (Gerald Blech) Larson of Durango, CO, special cousins, Leona (Carlton) Tubbs of Lockwood, NY, Leroy Grace of Canton, PA, other friends that were special in his life, Dick Parks, Tom Johnson, the Kerr, Brown, House, Huslander, and Wristley families and his faithful canine friend "Bengi".
