John Anthony Settembrino

POTTSVILLE- John Anthoy Settembrino, 45, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday morning at his residence. Born in Philadelphia on April 2, 1964, John was a son of John Vincent and Ann Troyanosky Settembrino, of Warrington, PA. John was 1982 graduate of Central Bucks East High School. He received his associates degree in Culinary Arts from Bucks County Community College. He worked for the Schuylkill Medical Center- South Jackson Street, Pottsville as a chef. He was a member of St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, Warrington, PA. John was also a member of the American Culinary Federation, Inc. He was an active volunteer for Relay for Life. John enjoyed owning and operating his disc jockey business, Now and Then. In addition to his parents, John is survived by his wife, Tammy L. Falls, of Pottsville, whom he recently married; his two sisters, Mary Ann Lipton, wife of Dr. Andrew, of Narberth, PA and Jean Dolan, wife of Ken, of Newtown, PA; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; cousins. Funeral Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Maizeville. Family and friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with Parastas at 6:00 P.M. and also on Wednesday morning from 8:00 A.M. until 9:15 A.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Streets, Pottsville. Interment will be held in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Cemetery, Englewood, Butler Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's memory may be made to Hillside SPCA, Hillside Road, Pottsville, PA 17901.
