Jodi L. Geiger

DOVER- Jodi L. (Riley) Geiger, 52, of Dover Township, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Sun Coast Hospice Mid Pinellas in Pinellas Park, FL. She was the wife of Dennis L. Geiger, Jr. The couple celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on July 26, 2022.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Viewings will take place from 4-6p.m. on Sunday and 10-11 a.m. on Monday, both at the funeral home and open to all. Certified Celebrant Allison Duke will be officiating at the service. The service will be webcast live and can be viewed by searching Jodi’s obituary on HeffnerCare.com Burial will follow the services at St. Jacob’s Union Cemetery in York New Salem.

Jodi was born in York on April 1, 1971, a daughter of Faye (Black) Wine of Dover and the late Glenn Wine. She was the owner and operator of Geiger Jewelers in South York. She opened the store in March of 2005 and retired in March of 2023. Prior to that she was a manager for Blockhouse, working with the Department of Justice and the Department of Defense. Prior to that she worked as a manager at Littman Jewelers.

Jodi was a graduate of Central Penn College, where she studied to be a paralegal. She was a member of Shiloh American legion, post 791, ladies auxiliary and a GIA Certified Gemologist. She enjoyed boating, going to the beach, camping and outdoor activities, especially if it involved being in the sun.

Along with her husband and mother, Jodi leaves two sons, Alec D. Wolfe and his wife Morgan of State College and Kaden B. Geiger of Dover; two brothers, Travis Riley of Lewes, DE and Lance Wine of Newport, NC; nieces and nephews and her pet Shih Tzu, Kozmo.
