Joann (Beatty) Laughman

YORK—Joann (Beatty) Laughman, 76, died on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Walter E. Laughman to whom she was married for 51 years. Born on May 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Frederick C. and Emily (Rine) Beatty. Mrs. Laughman is survived by daughter, Michele Johnson of York, PA; daughter, Tammy Pearce of Whitehall, MD; daughter, Crystal Laughman of York, PA; son, Brooks Laughman of York, PA; daughter Rebecca Brown of Essex, MD; and daughter Malinda Cline of Havana, FL; son-in-law‘s, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Laughman was a member of West York Kingdom Hall of Jehovah‘s Witnesses in York, PA. Joann was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, shopping and spending time with her family. Services for Mrs. Laughman are being held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the West York Kingdom Hall of Jehovah‘s Witnesses, 2601 Bannister St. York PA 17408. A visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM and a memorial service talk at 2 PM. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.
