Joan S. Jenson

Joan Jenson Joan Jenson of Pottsville died Monday evening at the Pottsville Hospital. Mrs. Jenson was born in Mount Carmel, December 15, 1930 the daughter of the late Robert W. and Margaret L. (Parry) Scott. She graduated from Pottsville High School. She worked as a Personnel Administration Officer for the State Department, Washington, D.C. Surviving is her husband Charles A. Jenson, two sons James, husband of Paula Bailey, Arlington, VA; Kenneth, husband of Kathy Bailey Wintersprings, FL; a step-son Charles K., husband of Kathy Jenson, Dallas, TX; a step-daughter Connie, wife of Terry Rasmussen, Santaquin, UT; three brothers Robert J., husband of Ruth Scott, Woosters, OH; Walter P, husband of, Barbara Scott, Mechanicsburg, PA; James K. Scott and his companion Jane Sozbory, Pottsville, PA, a sister Carolyn, wife of Joel Dickson, Pittsburgh, PA; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services of remembrances will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at the Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel, PA. The family would prefer remembrances to be sent in care of Avenues, Agricultural Park, Pottsville, PA. Or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, East Central PA Chapter, 906 Penn Avenue (Rear), Wyomissing, PA 19610. Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
