Jin-Long Wu

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP- Jin-Long Wu, 55, of Manchester Twp., died Monday, March 3, 2008 at York Hospital. He was the husband of April E. (Gill) Wu. The couple shared 23 years of marriage together. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be from 1-3:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Emergency Services Building, North, 1200 Good Hope Rd., Mechanicsburg. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Wu was born in Taiwan, Republic of China on November 19, 1952, a son of Chun Ching and Kwei Fung Wu-Chen. Mr. Wu graduated with a Master's degree from Shippensburg University in 1983. He served in the Taiwan Republic of China Army for two years. Mr. Wu was a waiter for more than 15 years at Chef Wong's Restaurant and the former Mandarin Restaurant on the Carlisle Pike. He took pleasure in traveling to Taiwan to visit family and taking pictures. He enjoyed computers, electronics, and landscaping. He also enjoyed painting and handy work. In addition to his wife April, Mr. Wu is survived by his daughter Adrienne J. Wu of York, his sisters: Shi-Mei Wu and her husband Kwao Chin Chen and Shou-Mei Wen Wu and her husband Chih Sheng Wen, and his mixed breed black Labrador dog, Shadow, whom he called "dog."
