Jessie V. Coover

DALLASTOWN- Jessie V. (Davis) Coover, 103, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at ManorCare Health Services in Dallastown. She was the wife of the late James M. Coover, to whom she was married for over 60 years. Born on August 21, 1915 in New Park, she was a daughter of the late William and Grace B. (Jenkins) Davis. She was one of seven children and loved to talk about growing up on the farm with her siblings. She worked at the Stewartstown Manufacturing Company until she and her husband moved to Florida in the 70’s. There, she continued working for the Amalgamated Clothing Company until her retirement. She was a talented seamstress, not only with clothing but upholstery, as well. She and her husband loved to travel and were fortunate to visit every state. Their best memories were traveling in their RV, meeting and visiting friends along the way. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
