Spring Grove—Jeryl P. Fuller, 78, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at his residence in North Codorus Township. He was the husband of the late Minnie B. (Bumbaugh) Fuller. A celebration of life service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with the Rev. Gary Bowman, officiating. Viewings will be Sunday, from 5 to 7 p.m., and Monday, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Fuller was born November 8, 1930 in Roanoke, VA, a son of the late James E. and Essie B. (Brinkley) Fuller. He was employed as a fryer with Bon-Ton Foods, where he retired from after 20 years of service. For several years he served as a member of the Army National Guard. He was also a member of the South End Democratic Club and W. York V.F.W., Post 8951 and enjoyed spending time with family, especially trips to Ocean City and was an avid NASCAR fan. Mr. Fuller is survived by his sister-in-law, Louise Fuller, one son, Wayne Phillips of Georgia, step daughter, Cindy Lapp of York, three grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, one brother, Jackie Fuller , one sister, Alma Jean Rhinehart, both of Roanoke, VA, his niece and care giver, Sharon Smith, with whom he resided and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Garland A., Ray W. and James N. Fuller and one sister, Virginia Wray. Special thanks to his little buddy and helper Gavin, and his special little nurse, Jessica, and all his girls from White Rose Hospice who provided Love, Care and Support to him and his family.
