LOWER WINDSOR TOWNSHIP - Jerry W. Reynolds, Sr. USNR MMC Ret., 64, of Wrightsville died Tuesday, May 7, 2013. He was the husband of Francesmary, M. (Narkum) Reynolds. The couple celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on September 22, 2012. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Canadochly Evangelical and Reformed Church, 4845 East Prospect Rd. in York. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion on Friday and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Canadochly Cemetery with full military honors provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Reynolds was born in Lancaster on August 17, 1948, the son of Helen E. (Kenworthy) Reynolds of Ephrata and the late James H. Reynolds. He was currently the Director of North American Field Service for Hendrickson in Woodridge, IL. He grew the Hendrickson Service Organization from a couple of people to the verge of being a global organization. Mr. Reynolds was a member of Canadochly Evangelical and Reformed Church in York, where he served as a deacon. He was a life member of Gap, PA VFW post 7418, a member of National Street Rods Association, and the Technology Maintenance Council. He served in the US Navy for four years, active on board the USS Enterprise (CVAN-65) during the Vietnam War and 22 years in the reserves in Philadelphia and Baltimore Sima’s, and was an instructor at the Philadelphia Fire Training Center. Mr. Reynolds leaves a son, Jerry W. Reynolds, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Mount Wolf; a daughter, Jaime Lyn Thomas and her husband James of York; two grandchildren, Jessica and Jason Thomas; and a brother, Chester “Lee” Reynolds and his wife Jerri of Leola.
