Jerry D. Fahs

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP-Jerry D. Fahs, 61, of York, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at his residence. He was the husband of Donna L. (Wright) Fahs. The couple celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on October 22, 2006. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Reverend Gregory D. Wahlberg will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Jerry was born in York on April 21, 1946, a son of David H. Fahs of York and the late Mildred (Markey) Fahs. He was a farmer for most of his life and was currently employed by Lafayette Venetian Blind Company in Linglestown as a truck driver. He was an avid NASCAR Fan and loved his horses, dogs and cat. In addition to his wife and father, Jerry leaves two daughters: Melissa A. Albright of York and her husband Scott, Melinda S. Santilli of New Albany, OH, a grandson, Colin T. Santilli, a brother, Bruce Fahs of York and a sister Sandra Stabler of York.
