DOVER - Jeremy M. Naylor, 19, died Monday, June 30, 2008 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the son of Eliot Michael and Susan E. [Weaver] Naylor of Dover. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, July 7, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A viewing will be held from 5-7:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Chapel. Born August 11, 1988 in York, he was a 2006 graduate of Dover Area High School and attended Ball State University and Millersville University. At Dover High School, Jeremy was the senior class president and participated in the football and swimming programs. He was a high school All-American swimmer and was a member of Dover's PIAA 2006 bronze medal winning 200-medley relay team, along with his brother Eric. In addition to sports, Jeremy loved playing the guitar and taught himself to play the harmonica; enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and was a member of Dover Fish and Game. He also liked going to local sprint car races and spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his parents, Jeremy is survived by a brother, Eric M. Naylor of Dover; maternal grandparents, Charles and Frances Lightner of Dover and Robert Weaver of Hellam; maternal great grandmothers, Frances Weaver and Virginia Lightner both of York; paternal grandparents, Charles and Lois Naylor of Dover; aunts, Lori and husband Kerry Diehl of East Berlin, Elaine and Susan Corwin of Oregon, and Cathy Barck of Dover; uncles, Matthew Lightner and Edward Naylor both of Dover, Scott and Diana Naylor of York, and Steve and Doris Naylor of Red Lion; and 13 cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dover Eagle Athletic Booster Club, c/o Athletic Dept., Dover Area High School, 46 W. Canal St., Dover, PA 17315. "Get on the Horse!"
