Jerald R. Stump

YORK – Jerald R. Stump, 93, absent from the body, present with the Lord. He died at York Hospital and was the husband of the late Virginia R. (Zinn) Stump. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with his pastor, The Rev. Carlos Kelly officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery with full military rites provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born March 15, 1920 in Dallastown a son of the late Harry and Bertha E. (Kreidler) Stump, he was a 1937 graduate of Dallastown Area High School. He retired from Sears in 1984 after 25 years of service. Mr. Stump was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Congregational Church and was a US Marine Corps veteran of WWII. Mr. Stump is survived by one brother; a sister; and nieces and nephews.
