Jeffrey L. Patterson

MANCHESTER-Jeffrey L. Patterson, 70, of East Manchester Twp., passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia M. (Crone) Patterson. The couple celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on February 14, 2017. A celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 6-7:30 p.m. Mr. Patterson was born in Columbia on October 30, 1946, the son of the late Kenneth L. and Lois M. (Leiphart) Patterson. He was currently working as a delivery driver for Rutter’s Dairy in York, where he has worked for 17 years. Prior to that, he worked for Yorktowne Roofing. Mr. Patterson was a member of Craley Fish and Game Association. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family. Mr. Patterson leaves two sons, Shon W. Einsig and his wife Karen of Manchester and Brett L. Patterson of Dallastown; two daughters, Tony M. Crider of West Virginia and Britt M. Dillon of Kentucky; six grandchildren; Hunter, Calvin, Tyler, Tearra, Breydon, and Kyle; a brother, Jody L. Patterson of Dallastown; and a sister, Jennifer L. Mundy and her husband Ronald of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a son, Jay Einsig.
