Jeffrey C. Overdorff

TROY- Jeffrey C. Overdorff, 53, of Mount Joy and formerly of Bradford County, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at his home after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Jeff was born in Elmira, NY. He was raised by his grandparents, the late Blair and Margaret Overdorff. He is survived by the love of his life, Stephanie Barker of Mount Joy. Jeff currently worked for the Susquehanna Valley E.M.S. as a dispatcher. He was a long-time paramedic and had served as the Bradford County 911 coordinator. Jeff loved spending time outdoors with his children, travelling, and listening to music. He was an avid Star Trek fan. Jeff is also survived by his children: Ariel, Anna, Ryan and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Overdorff. Stephanie and the family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and other members of the medical team that took care of Jeff during his illness. A service celebrating Jeff’s life will take place at Vickery Funeral Home 1093 W Main St, Troy, PA 16947 on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12- 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private in the Bradford County Memorial Park.
