Red Lion — Jeffrey C. Knisely, 62, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Emma L. (Holloway) Knisely to whom he was married for 35 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 PM, Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Kathy Harvey Nelson of Salem United Methodist Church—Martinsville officiating. A viewing will be held from 12-2 PM, Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Bethlehem Stonepile Cemetery with military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Born November 22, 1952 in York, he was a son of the late Carl D. and Janet R. (Smith) Knisely. He was the owner of W.E. Knisely & Sons, a plumbing and heating business that his family has operated for four generations. A United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was an avid hunter, had a passion for cars, especially his 1969 Z28 Camaro and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. In addition to his wife, Mr. Knisely is also survived by two sons, Aaron M. Knisely of Red Lion and Seth R. Knisely of Felton; three sisters, Trudy Shaffer and her husband, Robert of Red Lion, Lisa Knisely of Texas and Cindy Deverdaux and her husband, David of Texas and nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Rd, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
