Jeffrey C. Coble

GLEN ROCK – Jeffrey C. Coble, 69, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home. He was the companion of Phyllis Lieb. Born April 18, 1952 in York a son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Lehigh) Coble, he was a 1970 graduate of Dover Area High School where he played drums. Mr. Coble had worked for Preston Trucking, Red Star Trucking, Pitt Ohio and most recently as a delivery driver for Minnich's Pharmacy. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and boating; was a proud grandpa who never missed an opportunity to be with his grandchildren; and enjoyed all genres of music. Jeff had also volunteered as a driver for the Meals on Wheels program. Mr. Coble is also survived by a daughter, Christa A. Peachy of Virginia Beach, VA; a son, Steven H. and wife Deanna Coble of Red Lion; four grandchildren, William Peachy, III, Charlotte Peachy; Ryne Coble and Dax Coble; a sister, Brenda Landis of York; and many friends with whom he cherished spending time. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Thomas Landis. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 12-4:00 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at John Rudy Park, Yellow Pine Pavilion, 400 Mundis Race Rd., York, PA 17406.
