Jeffrey A. Crook

YORK- Jeffrey A. Crook, 53, of York passed away Tuesday, August 20, at Hospice Community Care. He was the husband of Beverly J. (Shellenberger) Crook. The couple wed November 2, 1985. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Friendship Community Church, 3380 Fox Run Road, Dover with Pastor Dennis Hall officiating the service. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. and a luncheon to follow at noon at the church. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born May 12, 1960 in East Liverpool, Ohio he was a son of the late Bob and Shirley (Patterson) Crook. Jeffrey worked 16 years as a sales engineer for Yeager Supply, Inc. and was a member of the National Rifle Association and the PaHaGaCo Lake Association. As an avid hunter, he enjoyed traveling everywhere in the United States collecting trophies. Jeffrey was also fond of fishing, golf and his family. In addition to his wife, Mr. Crook is survived by two sons, David Wallace and wife, Michelle of Dover and Brent Crook of Dover; two grandchildren, Kurstyn and Tanner Wallace of Dover; and one brother, Jim Crook and wife, Sue of Tenafly, New Jersey; nephew, Jason; and niece, Keridy.
