Jeannette A. Rauhauser

DOVER- Jeannette A. (Strickhouser) Rauhauser, 74, died on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her husband and children. She was the wife of David C. Rauhauser to whom she was married for over 50 years. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Born on May 1, 1947 in York, she was a daughter of the late David and Dorothy (Neiman) Strickhouser. Jeannette owned and operated Jeannette Rauhauser’s Beauty Salon for many years. Mrs. Rauhauser was a member of Faith U.C.C. Jeannette loved spending time with her children, taking care of her grandchildren and loved her dogs. Along with her husband, David, Jeannette is survived by her son, Scott Rauhauser of York; two daughters, Michelle Stanton and her husband, Chris of York and Nicole Campbell and her husband, Joel Jr. of Etters; three grandchildren, Brielle Stanton and Liam and Cassie Campbell; two brothers, Kenneth Strickhouser and his wife, Cherylyn of Wellsville and William Strickhouser and his wife, Donna of York; and her dog, Cody. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Cindy Bobbit and Leah Arndt; and brothers, Richard, Jack and David Strickhouser. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, 3159 N.
