Jeanie (Logie) Cashmere

PITTSTON-Jeanie Cashmere, 78, formerly of Scranton, passed away Sunday evening, August 12, 2007, at Pittston Manor where she had resided the past 4 years. Born on Staten Island, NY on December 23, 1928, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Sexton) Logie. She attended Brick United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her sons, Paul and Edward Cashmere, Jr.; daughter, Mary Cashmere; and grandson, Brian Cashmere. Surviving is her daughter, Jeanie Kuenze and her husband, Dennis, Duryea; grandchildren Erin and Robert; brothers, John Logie, Moosic and Thomas Kline, Florida; several nieces and nephews. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 728 Main Street, Avoca.
