Jean W. (Spangler) Copenhaver

LEWISBERRY- Jean W. (Spangler) Copenhaver, 82, of Fairview Twp., died Friday, August 8, 2008 at Holy Spirit Hospital. The couple celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on October 6th. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 West Front Street in Lewisberry, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery. Mrs. Copenhaver was born in Middletown on March 18, 1926, a daughter of the late Claude S. and Catharine M. (Bumbach) Spangler. She worked for the former Remington Rand and then retired from the former Statewide Office Supply. Mrs. Copenhaver was a graduate of Middletown High School. She enjoyed collecting Pat Buckley Moss Pictures, and enjoyed fishing trips with her husband on the French River in Canada. Along with her husband, Warren, Mrs. Copenhaver leaves a sister, Janet Davis of Camp Hill and nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity in Jean's name.
