Jean M. Roskosky, RN POTTSVILLE-Jean M. Roskosky, 59, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center- East Nowegian Street, Pottsville. Born in Pottsville on June 14, 1949 she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Bolton Conville. Jean was a 1967 graduate of Marian Catholic High School and a 1970 graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Reading. She worked as a registered nurse at the Good Samaritan Hospital, the Leader Nursing Home and most recently worked for the Pottsville Hospital where she was employed for the last 22 years. She was a member of the former Mary Queen of Peace Church, Pottsville. She was most recently a member of St. Patrick's Church, Pottsville. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Roskosky, Jr., who passed away January 16, 1993; her granddaughter, Meadow Roskosky; her sister, Mary Ann Conville. She is survived by her son, Stanley Roskosky, of Pottsville, husband of Shannon; her daughter, Lisa Hill, of Tamaqua, wife of Francis; her five grandchildren, Megan Roskosky Boyer, Derek Roskosky, Emily, Lauren and Farnkie Hill; her sister, Elizabeth Navitsky, of Pottsville, wife of Ted; her brother, George Conville, of Kelayres; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:00 A.M. in St. Patrick's Church, Pottsville. Family and friends may call on Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and also on Friday morning from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home,Inc., 6th & West Market Streets, Pottsville. Interment will be held in Queen of the Universe Cemetery, Peach Mountain, Pottsville.
