Jean M. Kessler

York—Jean M. (Trite) Kessler, 93, passed away Saturday March 29, 2025 at Dallastown Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Frederick E. Kessler.

Born September 15, 1931 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Howard Trite Sr., and Almeda (Corbin) Trite.

A dedicated and loving homemaker, she enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and watching the birds come and go from the feeders she had in her yard. However, what she cherished most was spending time with her family. She was also a member of Lutheran Memorial Church in York and the Antique Automobile Club of America.

Mrs. Kessler is survived by three sons, Frederick Kessler II and his wife, Rose, Rick Kessler and Scott Kessler; three grandchildren, Amber, Ashley and Brandon; three great children, Ara, Iris and Emmit; one sister, Jackie Becker and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Trite Jr., and Bill Trite.

A Celebration of Life Tribute will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements.
