Jean F. (Hoffman) Kuhns

WILKES-BARRE-Jean F. Kuhns, 97, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday morning, January 23, 2013 at St. Luke’s Villa, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Wilkes-Barre on December 9, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Albert M. and Sara(Cranston) Hoffman. She was a 1933 graduate of Meyers High School. She was a member of Church of Christ Uniting, Kingston. Prior to retiring she was employed as a secretary at Pennsylvania Wholesale Drug Company for 34 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Kuhns, who passed away in 1986; an infant son and sister, Helen Williams. Surviving is her nephew, Walter Williams of Louisa, VA. Private services were held at the convenience of the family from Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township.
