Jean A. (Pressler) Warren

YORK- Jean A. (Pressler) Warren, 88, of Spring Garden Twp., died Saturday, October, 8, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services- Kingston Ct. in York. She was the wife of Robert E. Warren. The couple was married for 63 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. The Reverend Jim Polanzke will be officiating at the service. Full military honors will be provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard at the start of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Warren was born in Philadelphia on March 2, 1923, a daughter of the late James and Katherine (Hench) Pressler. She retired as a Registered Nurse at Caterpillar in York. She also served in the US Navy in WWII as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Warren leaves two sons, James A. Warren in Ithaca, NY and Steven A. Warren in York and four grandchildren: Andrew, Jenny, Xiao-Lian, and Nathaniel. Memorial contributions may be made to Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 1907 Hollywood Drive, York, PA 17403.
