Jay L. Pickles" Sultzbaugh

POTTSVILLE - Jay L. "Pickles" Sultzbaugh, 82, a resident of ManorCare, died Saturday at the Schuylkill Medical Center, East Norwegian St., Pottsville. Born on March 20, 1926 in Tower City, he was a son of the late Henry I. & Mable Miller Sultzbaugh. He attended Porter-Tower Schools. A hard working man, Jay was employed by the American Argo Corp., for 36 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pottsville. Jay loved to travel and meet new people. He also enjoyed going to shows. Surviving Jay are: three daughters, Peggy Rubendall, Myerstown, Victoria Neidlinger, Pottsville and Julie Cole, Pine Grove; a companion Glory Graf and her daughter, Glo Graf, of Pottsville; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 11 AM from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville. The Rev. Storm Hutchinson will officiate. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM until time of service.
