Jay L. Einsig

MANCHESTER- Jay L. Einsig, 42, died on Friday, May 9, 2014 at York Hospital. A celebration of life service will be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Pastor Richard B. Starr officiating. A viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. prior to the service. Born on April 10, 1972 in York, he was a son of Patricia (Crone) Patterson and the late Robert E. Einsig, Jr. Jay worked at Harley Davidson for over 19 years. Mr. Einsig was a member of Shiloh American Legion Post #791, Starview Sportsman Association and the Wago Club. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and loved to ride his bike. He also enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and loved dogs. Jay was always willing to help anyone in need. His family and friends meant everything to him. Mr. Einsig is survived by his son, Hunter Einsig of Manchester; a brother, Shon Einsig and his wife, Karen of Manchester; a sister, Tony Crider of Orma, W.V.; and stepfather, Jeff Patterson of Manchester.
