Jay E. Burrow

YORK - Jay E. Burrow, 53, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Dawn E. (Miller) Burrow to whom he married on May 14, 2009. Funeral services and burial will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born May 30, 1956 in Buffalo, NY a son of John E. Burrow of Lyons Falls, NY and the late Virginia (Kofink) Burrow, he had attended Syracuse University. Mr. Burrow had worked for Shaw Industries for 15 years. Jay was a member of Harley Davidson Owners Group and enjoyed genealogy, photography, and attending the theatres in New York. He could also be found playing his guitar and adding to his music library. In addition to his wife, Dawn, Mr. Burrow is survived by two stepsons, Alexander M. and Adam C. Miller both of York; three stepdaughters, Jennifer Peate of Atlanta, GA, Jillian N. and Michaela C. Miller both of York; a brother, Gordon and wife Jodi Burrow of Syracuse, NY; a niece Gracie Burrow of Syracuse; and a cousin Jane Braunig of Willard, NY.
