YORK – Jason E. Thomas, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 10, 2025 at his home. He was the husband of Angelyc R. (Hake) Thomas to whom he married on April 2, 2022.
A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Rev. Barbara Barry and Rev. Roy Stetler officiating. A viewing will be held from 1-3:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Chapel.
Born January 30, 1974 in York, a son of Thomas E. Thomas of York and Janet P. (Michalak) Thomas and her friend Bud LaPlaca of York; he was a 1992 graduate of Central York High School. Jason has owned and operated Accent Tint Window Tinting in York for the past 22 years. He was a member of Hawks Gunning Club, attended Quickel Lutheran Church. Jason loved hunting and being outside, particularly around his firepit. His family and friends meant the world to him. He also enjoyed his days of being around the go cart and sprint car tracks working as a mechanic for Davey Brown, Jr. and Johnny Mackison, Jr.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jason is survived by his five children, Wyatt Thomas and his girlfriend Kayla Gross, Wheylin and Zackary Thomas, Chase Landes, and Paige Landes and her boyfriend Ryan Miller, all of York; a sister, Amy Thomas of York; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved chocolate Labrador, Elwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Jason may be made to Ted Nugent Kamp for Kids, 4008 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI 49202 or to Tinters for a Cause.
