Janice M. Connolly

Janice M. (Johnson) Connolly, 89, of Renovo passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Bucktail Medical Center in South Renovo. Born July 17, 1927 in Renovo, the daughter of the late Harry A. and Florence A. (Lindsey) Johnson and the last surviving member of that family. She married John M. “Irish” Connolly on February 26, 1949 in Lock Haven by Reverend F. L. Pannebaker, who preceded her in death on January 5, 2009. She attended Renovo High School and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Renovo and enjoyed her family, swimming, and bowling. Janice is survived by her two daughters, Becky (Eric) Sherman of Albion and Betsy (Lenny) Stone of Fairless Hills; three sons, John Connolly of Renovo, Jim (Tanya) Connolly of Emporium, and Tim Connolly of Williamsport; one son-in-law, Richard Lupro of Hanover; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Erin, Mark, Brynn, Drew, Tabitha, and Collin; and five great grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Beth Lupro; grandson, Ryan Lupro; five brothers, Jeff, Merrill, Malcolm, Tom, and Gordon; and seven sisters, Sadie, Dorothy, Charlotte, Esther, Lenora, Grace, and Lois. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at North Bend Cemetery. Helt Funeral Chapel, Inc., 232 Hogan Blvd, in Mill Hall is in charge of arrangements.
