Janet M. (Craig) Blomquist

WINDSOR- Janet M. (Craig) Blomquist, 87, died Sunday, May 4, 2014 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Blomquist. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. A private interment will be held in MeadowRidge Memorial Park in Elk Ridge, MD. Mrs. Blomquist was born in Newark, NJ on October 14, 1926, the daughter of Frank A. and Mary E. (Zimmons) Craig. She worked as a LPN in Maryland and Florida until her retirement in 1997. She was a member of Military Order of Lady Bugs and Amateur Radio Club. Mrs. Blomquist leaves three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a sister, Kathleen M. Craig of Lancaster. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
