Janet L. (Miller) Colvin

Watch Video Tribute York—Janet L. (Miller) Colvin, 74, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leonard O. Colvin. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with her pastor, the Rev. Thomas E. Beck, officiating. A viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Colvin was born May 18, 1935 in York, a daughter of the late Harry W. and Laura M. (Wineka) Miller. She was a dedicated and loving homemaker and enjoyed participating in activities with her husband at the Izaak Walton League and she was also a member of St. Peter's Church in Seven Valleys. Mrs. Colvin is survived by one daughter, Judi A. Hall and her husband Barry of York, two grandchildren, Barry Hall Jr., and James Hall, three great grandchildren, Brittany, Mason and Grantley Hall, four brothers, Russel, M. Luther, C. Mervin and Milo Miller, two sisters, Beulah Ness and Anna Rodes and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Harry L. Colvin, granddaughter, Trina Hall, four brothers, Milton, John, Paul and Elmer Miller and four sisters, Alice Fake, Dorothy Kinard, and Mary and Sara Miller.
