Janet L. Casper

RENOVO- Janet L. "Sissy" Casper, 65 passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the Williamsport Hospital where she was a patient since December 28, 2009. She was born in Renovo on June 24, 1944 the daughter of Murrill and Theresa (Lisi) Girton. Janet was married to Stanley R. Casper who died in 1979. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Red Hat Society and the Senior Moments. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, walking and watching television. Surviving are three daughters Shelly (Chuck) Probst of North Bend, Theresa Casper and her companion Matt McDonald of Renovo and Stacy Kiffer of York. Three grandchildren (Stan, Chuckie and Kevin) One great-granddaughter Emma Three Sisters Patricia Wettlaufer of Dushore, Nancy Hess of Renovo and Joanne Brooks of S. Renovo. She was preceded in death by three brothers Joseph, Michael and James. A memorial mass will be celebrated 3:00 P.M., Saturday, January 16, 2010 at St. Joseph Church, 925 Huron Ave., with Rev. Richard Tomkosky officiating. Interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society (Clinton Unit) 1925 E. Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701 or to St. Joseph Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo.
