Janet L. (Barnhart) Wayne

NEW OXFORD- Janet L. (Barnhart) Wayne, 75, formerly of York, died on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Cross Keys Village Brethren Home. She was the wife of the late Haydn P. Wayne. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday and 1-2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Mrs. Wayne was born in York on June 25, 1936, daughter of the late Paul C. and Mary R. (Zink) Barnhart. Mrs. Wayne was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, The United Methodist Women’s Society, and Primetimer’s at Otterbein Church. Mrs. Wayne leaves a sister, Elizabeth C. Zinn and her husband Earl of Hanover; a niece Susan Day; a nephew, Earl Zinn, Jr.; and great nieces and great nephews. A nephew, Paul Zinn had preceded her in death.
