Janet K. (Farrington) Mccollin

LOCK HAVEN - Janet K. (Farrington) McCollin, 61, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 28, 1952 in Lock Haven the daughter of Robert and Joy (Culvey) Farrington. Janet worked for First Quality where she retired after several years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. Janet attended St. Agnes Church. She is survived by her mother Joy Alexander of Williamsport and a son Jason (Jessica) McCollin of Lock Haven also two granddaughters Haley and Ava. One brother Charles Farrington of Montoursville and a sister Shirley Probst of Jersey Shore. Janet was preceded in death by her father also her step-father Bruce Alexander and a sister Edwina Farrington. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven.
