Janet J. (Casper) Kanouff

SOUTH RENOVO - Janet J. (Casper) Kanouff, 85, of Farwell passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo. She was born in Renovo on February 6, 1929 a daughter of the late Lewis and Madeline (Conway) Casper. Janet was married to Calvin Kanouff they celebrated 68 years of marriage together. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. Surviving are her husband; two sons Joseph (Joann) Kanouff of Westport and Charles (Sue) Kanouff of E. Renovo. Four daughters Connie (Joe) Edwards of Carrollton, GA, Carole Anderson, Betty Sockman both of Farwell and Michelle (Rob) Stewart of West Renovo. 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. One sister Elsie Peter of McElhattan. She was preceded in death by two son-in-laws Curt Anderson and Clatie Sockman, four brothers Chark, Jerry, Stan and Lewis also four sisters Frances Storeman, Rose Hritzko, Doris Shank and Joyce Eschenbach. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 5, 2015 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo. Burial will be private at North Bend Cemetery.
