Red Lion – Jane E. (Snyder) Flinchbaugh, 83, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. She is the wife of the late, Truman E. Flinchbaugh. Born on September 30, 1937 in Springvale, she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Grace (Schmuck) Snyder. Jane worked as a manager for a variety of stores until her retirement around 20 years ago. Most recently, she worked part time at Ace Hardware. She was an active member at Springvale United Methodist Church. She attended Sunday School and helped out with church picnic and dinners, the nursery and taking care of the children. Jane loved to watch the wildlife. She took time to go to the mountains and watch the deer and the birds. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and looking at lighthouses. She would always take out her Oldsmobile for a drive around town. Jane is survived by her son, Alan Flinchbaugh and wife, Sue; daughters, Ruby Miller and husband, James, and Truda Reisinger and husband, John; 8 grandchildren, Brandey, Joshua, John III, Joseph, Nicole, Adam, Candice and Ashley; 2 step grandchildren, Angie and Leah; 10 great grandchildren, Canaan, Skyy Rae, Landon, Brooklynn, Jager, Jax, Ci’asia, Layla, Trenton and Dalton; brother, Eugene Snyder and wife, Nancy and sister-in-law, Evelyn Snyder. She is preceded in death by son, Mark S. Flinchbaugh and brothers, Thomas, Charles and Harold Snyder. A private graveside service will be held at Bethlehem Stonepile United Methodist Cemetery. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
