Jan A. Rexroth

YORK TOWNSHIP- Jan A. Rexroth, 50, of York, died Friday, January 23, 2009 at his residence. He was the husband of Bonnie J. (Yost) Rexroth. The couple celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on October 1, 2008. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Canadochly Evangelical and Reformed Church, 4845 East Prospect Rd., in York. His pastor, The Reverend William Baral will be officiating at the service. Visitations will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion and Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Rexroth was born in York on April 3, 1958, a son of Dorothy (Kise) Rexroth of Windsor Twp. and the late Harry Rexroth. He worked for 30 years as a salesman for TriBoro Construction Supplies in Dallastown, prior to that he performed his apprenticeship at Motters, where he then worked as a machine operator for 11 years. Mr. Rexroth was a life member of Canadochly Evangelical and Reformed Church where he was an Elder and President of the Consistory. He was a 1976 graduate of York Vo-Tech, and avid league bowler in which he bowled a perfect game, enjoyed playing in softball leagues, NASCAR, and was a member of the Viking Athletic Club in York. Mr. Rexroth leaves two daughters, Denise M. Corcoran of York and Jennifer L. Corcoran and her fianc矍ark of California; a granddaughter, Alison Margaret Holmes; two brothers, Gene R. Rexroth and his wife Treva of Windsor and Glenn C. Rexroth and his wife Linda of York Twp.; a sister Donalene L. Denlinger and her husband Leon of York; and nieces and nephews.
