Jamison Diggs

WILLIAMSPORT- Jamison "Burgess" Diggs, 63, of Williamsport, PA, passed away at his home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband Nancy J. (Boardman) Diggs. The couple married May 22, 1975 and had 33 happy years together. Family and friends are welcome to gather from 9:30-10:00 AM on Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Third Street United Methodist Church, 931 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA. The memorial service to honor Jamison's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Wildwood Cemetery. The Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, Inc. 331 Elmira St. Williamsport, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements. Jamison was born on September 5, 1945 in Williamsport, the son of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Kennedy) Diggs. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Jamison was a welder for Axeman Anderson Company in South Williamsport and was a member of the Third Street United Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Jamison is survived by his wife Nancy, his son Scott Martin Diggs of Williamsport, his daughter Tobi Michelle Diggs of Williamsport, his God-daughter Delon O'Connell, his grandchildren; Kerynn Diggs, Javon Diggs, Christian Diggs, Marina Diggs, and Tirae Nichols, brothers Phillip Diggs of Virginia and Clarence "Sonny" Diggs of Williamsport, sisters; Lois Ann Wendt of Williamsport and Hazel Mae Diggs of Pennsylvania, along with several nieces and nephews. Jamison was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother George Martin Diggs. The family suggests that condolences may be sent to the family home.
