James Wright Tull, Sr.

YORK- James Wright Tull, Sr., 80, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Phyllis E. (McGuire) Tull.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on February 28, 2023 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a visitation from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York.

Mr. Tull was born in Newport, VA on November 7, 1942, the son of the late Clarence J. and Marie (Gray) Tull. He retired from KCI Technology where he worked as a road and bridge inspector in York and Maryland.

Mr. Tull made Sterling Silver jewelry and had stands at both the Morning Sun Marketplace in Thomasville and the Patapsco Market in Baltimore. He also attended as a vendor at Steam-O-Rama in Windsor and Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Association in Easton, MD.

Mr. Tull leaves a son, James W. Tull, Jr. and his companion, Tracy Dalton of Knoxville, TN; and two daughters, Anette L Moretz and her husband Howard of Westminster, MD and Wanda Baker of Scranton; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Randolph P. Tull.
