James W. "Jim" Signor

WILLIAMSPORT - James W. “Jim” Signor, 86, died on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Rose View Center, Williamsport. He was married to the former Ruth E. Bower for over 30 years and who survives. Jim was born on August 10, 1928 in Williamsport and was the son of the late Chester and Margaret Signor. Jim was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church and enjoyed guns and working on trucks. He was always joking around with everyone. In addition to his wife Ruth, he is survived by three sons; Rusty R. Signor of Williamsport and Josh P. Signor and Barry K. Signor, both of Montoursville, two daughters; Dee A. Steinbacher and Sandy L. Dunlap, both of Williamsport, numerous grandchildren and one brother; Joseph Signor of Massachusetts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. There will be a public viewing 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
