James W. Boyd, Jr.

WINDSOR- James W. Boyd, Jr., 78, of Lower Windsor Township, died Thursday, February 27, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in York. He was the husband of Anna C. (Dunlap) Boyd. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on September 20, 2012. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. The Reverend Steven Schmuck will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Mr. Boyd was born in Windsor Township on May 2, 1934, the son of the late James W. and Pauline (Frey) Boyd, Sr. Mr. Boyd leaves five sons, Jeffrey L. Boyd of Red Lion, Gregory L. Boyd of St. Petersburg, FL, Steven H. Boyd of Red Lion, Phillip H. Boyd of Windsor, and Patrick E. Boyd of Windsor; a daughter, Diane D. Poff of Red Lion; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren. Two brothers, Donald and Gary Boyd and a sister, Donna Boyd Dunlap had preceded him in death.
