WRIGHTSVILLE- James A. Tyson, 77 of Lower Windsor Township, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Raellen L. (Baker) Tyson.

A visitation, with a celebration of life gathering will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion.

James was born in Felton on January 21, 1947, the son of the late Wilbur E. and Pauline E. (Arnold) Tyson. He retired from Operating Engineers local #542, where he worked as an operating engineer for numerous companies; his favorite being LA Pipeline. 

James had many pet dog companions over the years. He enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, trapping, racoon hunting, and target shooting. 

James leaves two brothers, Duane A. Tyson and his wife Linda of East Berlin and Dennis E. Tyson and his wife Melissa; two sisters, Dawn Wallick of Virginia and Robin Gise and her husband Larry of Red Lion as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Curvin Tyson and a brother-in-law, Wayne Wallick.
