James Tuson

DOVER- James Tuson, 58, of Dover Township, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at his residence. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. (Muller) Tuson. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. Full military honors will be provided by York County Veterans Honor Guard at the start of the service. Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Mr. Tuson was born in Philadelphia on March 18, 1953, the son of the late John H. and Mary Stella (Lucos) Tuson. He worked for New York Wire Company in York and had previously worked for BMY. Mr. Tuson was a member of Shiloh American Legion and he enjoyed fishing, had a great sense of humor, and loved Halloween. He served in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War. Mr. Tuson leaves four daughters, Brandi Diaz of Dover, DE, Amanda Shock of Dover, Jennifer Ferree of York, and Nancy Hauck of Dover; two sons, Robert J. Smetana, Jr. of Oklahoma, and Brian Smetana of Wilkes-Barre; 16 grandchildren, and a great granddaughter.
