RED LION- James T. Clark, 81, formerly of Collinsville, died Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Lutheran Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Viola (Smeltzer) Clark, the couple had been married 56 years. A funeral tribute service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with his pastor, Rev. Robert S. Edmundson officiating. A viewing will be from 6 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home Tuesday evening. Burial will be in New Harmony Presbyterian Cemetery. Mr. Clark was born April 16, 1926 in Fawn Township, a son of the late John M. and Roseanna (McConnel) Clark. He is a graduate of Fawn Township high school and had attended Chanceford Presbyterian Church as a child. Mr. Clark was employed for 16 years with Lyon Metal, retiring in 1974. He then was employed for 21 years with Caterpillar, retiring in 1990. Mr. Clark was a life member of New Harmony Presbyterian Church, Brogue. He was also a member of the Hawks Gunning Club, York. Mr. Clark was an avid hunter and sportsman. In addition to his wife, Mr. Clark is survived by a son, Bartley J. and his wife, Diane R. Clark of York; a daughter, Vickie C. Hannigan of York; a sister-in-law, Betty Clark of Fawn Twp.; and two nephews. Preceding him in death are his brother, John M. Clark, Jr. and his son-in-law, Dennis E. Hannigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Harmony Presbyterian Cemetery Fund, 2295 Delta Rd., Brogue, PA 17309.
