James T. Berry

DOVER-James T. Berry, 66, of Dover Township, passed away Monday, February 18, 2008 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by his wife and children. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Sipple) Berry. The couple celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on January 19, 2008. A Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. Jim was born in York on April 20, 1941, a son of the late James R. Berry and the late Virginia Harper. He worked for Medusa Cement Company in West York and Automatic Data Processing in Maryland. Jim liked working on and restoring antique automobiles and spending time with his wife, children, son-in-law, and grandson. He was a life member of Viking Athletic Association in York. Jim leaves a son, Wesley Berry of York, a daughter Lori Beaner and her husband Jeffrey of Thomasville, a grandson, Matthew R. Beaner, a brother Theodore Berry and two sisters: Betty White and Sharon Fogle and her husband Mike. A brother, Robert Berry preceded him in death.
